SD Gundam G Generation Eternal: US Network Test Announced!

Contrary to speculation, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is very much alive! Bandai Namco has announced an upcoming network test open to players in the United States, in addition to Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong. This exciting news comes after a period of silence since 2022.

1500 lucky participants will have the chance to experience the game firsthand from January 23rd to 28th, 2025. Applications are now open and will close on December 7th.

The SD Gundam G Generation series puts players in command of a vast roster of pilots and mecha from the iconic Gundam universe, engaging in strategic grid-based battles. The series is renowned for its extensive inclusion of characters and mobile suits from across the Gundam franchise.

While the Gundam franchise enjoys global popularity, the SD Gundam line, known for its "super deformed" style, might be less familiar to some. These charming, stylized kits featuring chibi versions of iconic mecha were once incredibly popular, even surpassing the original Gundam models in some regions.

A US Debut

Gundam fans are eagerly anticipating this latest installment. While Bandai Namco's Gundam game releases have had a somewhat inconsistent track record in the past, hopes are high that SD Gundam G Generation Eternal will deliver a high-quality experience.
