Thatgamecompany is set to start 2025 with a vibrant update to their all-ages MMO, Sky: Children of the Light. If you've ever wished for more color in the game, you're in for a treat with the new Season of Radiance update, which promises to add a plethora of chromatic enhancements.
The highlight of this update is the introduction of the Dye Workshop, located in the Aviary Village. Here, the Radiance Guide will introduce you to the art of dyeing, allowing you to transform your cosmetics into a dazzling display of colors. This isn't just about aesthetics; to create these dyes, you'll need to harvest new Dark Plants that are now scattered throughout the kingdom. Furthermore, you can experiment with mixing dyes to produce unique shades, ensuring your character stands out.
Alongside the dyeing feature, the update also includes new cosmetics such as hairstyles, capes, and outfits, providing you with plenty of options to showcase your newly acquired dyeing skills.
All the colours of the rainbow
The Season of Radiance event is scheduled to begin on January 20th. It's surprising that it took Thatgamecompany this long to introduce such a feature, but it's sure to add an exciting new layer of engagement for both new and veteran players.
