Diablo 4's Season of Witchcraft, the seventh season, introduces a new seasonal questline. This guide details how to complete the "Poison in the Roots" quest.
Lighting the Braziers: A Step-by-Step Guide
Early in the questline, you'll assist Gelena with a ritual requiring you to light three braziers in a specific order. Gelena provides a clue during her incantation, but here's the solution if you missed it:
- Left Brazier: Ignite the leftmost brazier using Ayh.
- Right Brazier: Light the rightmost brazier with Yew.
- Center Brazier: Finally, light the center brazier using Oun.
Following the brazier lighting, collect the blood from the ritual circle's center and spread it along the circle's edge. Prepare for several enemy waves while Gelena finishes the ritual. After defeating the enemies and the ritual's completion, speak with Gelena to conclude the quest.
Continuing the Season of Witchcraft
The remaining questline is relatively straightforward, focusing on gathering Grim Favors for the Tree of Whispers and redeeming them for rewards. Remember to upgrade your Witchcraft powers – a crucial element of this season's gameplay.
