The journey of Soul Tide is coming to an end, as developer IQI Games and publisher LemcnSun Entertainment have officially announced the End of Service (EOS) for the game. It's been an adventurous run of 2 years and 10 months since the global version of this mobile title made its debut.
When Is the Soul Tide EOS?
Mark your calendars: Soul Tide will cease operations on February 28th, 2025. As of now, the game has been removed from the Play Store, and in-game purchases are no longer available. If you've got resources still in the game, this is your final call to use them up. Remember, once the game shuts down, all your game data will be permanently erased.
But before the curtain falls, Soul Tide has one last hurrah planned. A final content update is set to roll out, giving long-time players something special to enjoy in the last month. Keep an eye out for details, which will be shared soon on the official X account of the game.
Ever Played the Game?
Soul Tide offered a unique blend of dungeon crawling with turn-based combat. Originally launched in Japan in 2021, this game combined elements of anime girl collection, home simulation, and dungeon exploration. Set in a fantasy realm where witches unleashed chaos, it also incorporated dating sim and roguelite features, making it a standout title.
In its early days, Soul Tide garnered positive reviews, praised for its engaging gameplay and enchanting, storybook-inspired visuals. What set it apart was the depth given to its characters, unlike many gacha games where characters are mere placeholders. However, challenges like harsh gacha rates, a cumbersome user interface, and sometimes off-target translations eventually took their toll.
If you're still holding onto some resources, you can access the game on the Google Play Store for a final playthrough.
