SteamDB data reveals a peak player count exceeding 197,000 users—the highest ever recorded for a paid EA game on the platform. This significantly outpaces Battlefield V's previous record of 116,000 players. While EA's most popular title, the free-to-play Apex Legends, boasts over 620,000 peak players, Split Fiction's achievement is remarkable within the paid game market.
