Steam Deck Support: Split Fiction's Full Specs Revealed

Get ready for Split Fiction, the upcoming narrative-driven adventure game that's fully embracing the Steam Deck and a host of Steam features. Hazelight Studios and Electronic Arts have also revealed the PC system requirements, ensuring everyone can join the adventure.

Steam Deck players will enjoy seamless cloud saves, allowing for effortless progress syncing across devices. For those who prefer a wider view, Split Fiction supports ultrawide monitors (21:9 and 32:9).

Minimum PC Requirements (1080p, 30 FPS, Low Settings):

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 470 (4 GB)
  • DirectX: 12
  • Storage: 85 GB

Recommended PC Requirements (2K, 60 FPS, High Settings):

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-11700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (8 GB) or AMD Radeon 6700 XT (12 GB)
  • DirectX: 12
  • Storage: 85 GB

Accessibility is a key focus, with features including closed captions, adjustable difficulty, contextual hints, and the ability to skip challenging sections. Console gamers can expect a smooth 60 FPS experience on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X (dynamic 4K resolution), and 1080p on Xbox Series S. Cross-play is enabled, but an EA account is required for multiplayer.

Split Fiction launches globally on March 6th for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, EA App), PS5, and Xbox Series consoles. Please note that Russian localization is not currently available.
