Solohack3r Studios, the innovative indie developer behind retro-style RPGs like Beast Slayer, Neopunk – Cyberpunk RPG, and Knightblade, has just released a captivating new game titled Suramon. This game merges monster battling and slime farming in a vibrant RPG setting.
What’s Suramon About?
In Suramon, you're transported to a lively world brimming with colorful slime monsters. Your journey involves two main objectives: building your Suradex—an extensive encyclopedia of the region's slime creatures—and uncovering the secrets of the mysterious Fuchsia Corp. What are their motives, and why are they so interested in these slimes?
The game's narrative kicks off with you inheriting your father's farm after his passing, setting the stage for a rural adventure. But instead of traditional farming, you'll be cultivating slime. Alongside slime farming, you'll plant crops, engage with the local villagers who offer new quests, and even have the chance to romance and marry. Suramon also features a variety of mini-games at the local casino, including slots and card games, as well as mining for gold and jewels.
What Sets It Apart?
Suramon distinguishes itself with its unique hybrid gameplay, seamlessly blending traditional RPG mechanics with a Pokémon-inspired creature collection system. Players can explore an expansive open world, engage in battles with over 100 different types of slimes, and collect Suramon Cubes that contain their genetic material.
The game became available on Steam for PC players in March 2024. For Android users, Suramon is a one-time purchase, free of ads and in-app purchases, and can be found on the Google Play Store.
