Last year brought many gaming surprises, but Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 stands out as a particularly pleasant one. Its success clearly resonated, leading to the unexpected announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 by Focus Entertainment! While only a brief teaser has been released so far, confirming the return of series protagonist, Titus, anticipation is already building.
Saber Interactive, the studio behind the highly successful Space Marine 2, is once again at the helm. Specific details about the third installment remain under wraps for now, but more information will be revealed in due course. In the meantime, Space Marine 2 will continue receiving updates, with new co-op missions and a horde mode planned for this year.
Beyond Space Marine 3, Saber Interactive has a busy development pipeline. Recently, they revealed an action game set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, featuring a wave-based monster system reminiscent of Space Marine 2. Another exciting project is Turok: Origins, promising intense dinosaur-battling action.
It's remarkable to consider that Space Marine 2 launched only six months ago, in September 2024, and has already captivated over five million players.
