Upcoming Pokemon GO Event Adding 2 New Paldean Pokemon

Pokemon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over event, launching January 15th, introduces Shroodle and Grafaiai, the Gen IX Poison/Normal-type Pokemon. This event, running until January 19th, 8 PM local time, offers more than just these new additions.

Key Event Features:

  • New Pokémon: Shroodle (hatchable from 12 km eggs) evolves into Grafaiai (requires 50 Shroodle Candy).
  • Surprise Encounters: Snapping a photo during the event might lead to a stylish Croagunk encounter.
  • Team GO Rocket Surge: Increased Team GO Rocket balloon and PokéStop appearances. Charged TMs can now remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon.
  • Shadow Palkia Rescue: A special research task focuses on saving Shadow Palkia.
  • Shadow Pokémon Encounters: Expect encounters with Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby.
  • Shadow Raids: One-star raids feature Shadow Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Totodile, and Ralts. Three-star raids include Shadow Electabuzz, Magmar, and Wobbuffet. Remote Raid Passes are enabled for these raids.
  • Field Research Rewards: Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs are up for grabs.
  • In-Game Bonuses: Collection Challenges, Showcases, and a 300-coin bundle (Incubator, Rocket Radar, Premium Battle Pass) in the shop.

Event Timing: Wednesday, January 15th, 12 AM – Sunday, January 19th, 8 PM (local time).

Beyond Fashion Week, the Corviknight line debuts January 21st, a Shadow Raid Day is imminent, and a Ralts Community Day is scheduled for January 25th. Get ready for a busy few weeks in the world of Pokémon GO!
