A long-awaited Christmas miracle has arrived for Team Fortress 2 fans! Valve has unexpectedly released a new comic for the popular team-based shooter. The announcement appeared on the official game website.
Titled "The Days Have Worn Away," this seventh installment marks the 29th comic release overall, including special events and themed stories. The release comes after a seven-year hiatus, the last comic having been published in 2017.
Valve playfully acknowledged the extended wait, likening the comic's creation to the building of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They humorously pointed out that unlike the Italian landmark's builders, TF2 players only endured a "mere" seven-year wait.

This latest comic offers a satisfying conclusion to the ongoing storyline, leaving little expectation for future installments. Erik Wolpaw's tweet on X, mentioning "the very last meeting for the Team Fortress 2 comic," strongly suggests this is the final chapter. Nevertheless, players can now enjoy a fitting end to the narrative and a dose of festive cheer.
