miHoYo (HoYoverse) unveils a new story trailer for Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) featuring the return of Evelyn Chevalier from the 1.5 update. The trailer showcases Evelyn undertaking various assignments, described as "generating spectacular shots," before accepting a seemingly problematic commission involving Astra Yao, now a singer in the ZZZ world with Evelyn as her assistant.
Gameplay-wise, Evelyn is an S-rank Fire-attribute heroine specializing in attack. Her unique combat style involves focusing on specific targets, drawing enemy attacks to initiate extended attack chains during basic attacks. When executing multi-stage or special attacks, she utilizes "Forbidden Bounds" to bind herself to the primary target.
Evelyn's skills inflict damage and generate Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, which fuel powerful fire-based abilities capable of inflicting significant damage. Her combat animations are striking, notably featuring her removing her cape and using it as a weapon against opponents. The character has already garnered considerable fan anticipation, thanks to prior leaks.
