How To Find Vostatek’s Horse Pepik in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, after the initial story segment, you gain access to various side quests and greater freedom to explore. One such quest involves locating Vostatek's missing horse, Pepik, which yields substantial rewards upon completion.

Vostatek and Wolves in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

The quest, "Lackey," begins by speaking with either Zlata at Vostatek's home (west of Tachov) or directly with Vitek (slightly southeast of the house, marked 'B' on the map). This leads you north, where you'll find Vostatek under attack by wolves.

Finding Pepik: A Trail of Clues

After rescuing Vostatek, you must escort him to his campsite where Pepik was tethered. Follow his instructions; be mindful of your stamina to avoid dropping him.

Upon reaching the campsite, you discover Pepik is gone. Follow the trail of clues, carefully examining each one as prompted. This leads you to a poacher's camp.

As suspected, poachers have stolen Pepik. He's located at the rear of their camp. Strategically engage the poachers; eliminate them individually or, if possible, mount Pepik and escape before a full-scale confrontation. Note that there's no opportunity for rest between rescuing Vostatek and retrieving Pepik, so your health may be depleted.

Return Pepik to Vostatek's campsite. You can then choose to fast travel with him back to his home, receiving a generous reward in Groschen and access to lodging there.

Having successfully reunited Vostatek with Pepik, you can now pursue other quests, romances, or purchase additional equipment using your newfound wealth.
