World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery: Final Phase Launch Details
Blizzard has announced that the seventh and final phase of World of Warcraft Classic's Season of Discovery will commence on January 28. This exciting update will introduce the new Karazhan Crypts dungeon and the thrilling Scourge Invasions event. Following closely, on February 6, guilds will have the opportunity to challenge the legendary Naxxramas raid, featuring new challenges for players to conquer.
Phase 7 of Season of Discovery arrives just two months after the launch of Phase 6, which brought players back to Silithus for the Scepter of the Shifting Sands quest chain and the Ahn'qiraj raids. During the Ahn'qiraj raids, players encountered a mysterious Shadowy Figure in the desert ruins, speculated to be Xal'atath from World of Warcraft: The War Within. Although the Shadowy Figure only made brief comments about the Old Gods in Phase 6, it remains to be seen if this enigmatic character will make a final appearance in Phase 7.
Even as the Season of Discovery reaches its conclusion with Phase 7, World of Warcraft Classic players can look forward to new challenges. Scheduled for Tuesday, January 28, following server maintenance, Phase 7 will introduce the Karazhan Crypts 5-player dungeon in Deadwind Pass. This dungeon delves beneath the iconic Karazhan tower, which later became a 10-player raid in The Burning Crusade. Alongside the dungeon, the Scourge Invasions event will see undead monsters invading various zones and cities across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. Players can engage in new Scourge Invasion quests at Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands, collecting Necrotic Runes from undead enemies to purchase new consumable items.
