Following a reported apology from Microsoft, Jyamma Games has revised its stance on the Xbox release of its debut title, Enotria: The Last Song. However, a firm release date remains elusive.
Microsoft's Apology Resolves Enotria Xbox Release Delays
Jyamma Games Expresses Gratitude to Phil Spencer and the Community
Microsoft has reportedly apologized to Jyamma Games for delays in the Xbox certification process for Enotria: The Last Song. The apology follows reports of Microsoft neglecting the game's submission for over two months, leading Jyamma Games to announce an indefinite postponement of the Xbox release earlier this week.
Jyamma CEO Jacky Greco previously expressed frustration on the game's Discord server, stating that Microsoft's lack of response indicated a lack of concern for both the game and its players. The Xbox Series X/S version was ready, but the inability to submit it caused significant financial setbacks due to porting costs.
This situation shifted dramatically following Microsoft's intervention. Jyamma Games publicly thanked Phil Spencer and his team on Twitter (X) for their prompt response and assistance. They also acknowledged the significant support from the player community, stating their voices were heard loud and clear.
Jyamma Games confirmed it is now actively collaborating with Microsoft, aiming for an Xbox release as soon as feasible.
Greco further elaborated on the Discord server, confirming Microsoft's apology and their collaborative efforts to resolve the issues.
Jyamma Games isn't alone in facing Xbox release challenges. Funcom recently reported optimization difficulties porting Dune: Awakening to the Xbox Series S. While the PS5 and PC versions of Enotria: The Last Song are still slated for September 19th, the Xbox release remains uncertain. For more details on Enotria: The Last Song, please see the link below.
