To ensure your system is up to the task, or to identify if different components are needed, we recommend running two specific tests:

TEST 1 (NORMAL COMMUNICATION): This test involves performing a regular speed communication to check baseline performance.

TEST 2 (FAST COMMUNICATION): This test pushes the system to its limits by performing the fastest allowed type of communication, although it is only supported by certain vehicle OBD-II protocols.

¹ It's important to note that ISO 15765-4 CAN is the only OBD-II protocol capable of delivering up to 140 parameters per second, provided your OBD-II adapter includes a higher quality chip. Older protocols might only manage to provide 4 parameters per second in the worst-case scenario.
