The narrative of World of Warcraft: The War Within continues. Beyond the Siren Isle update, Season 2's anticipated 2025 launch promises fresh endgame content and the expansion's next chapter. However, Patch 11.0.7 introduces several new story quests setting the stage for Patch 11.1, centered around the Goblin capital, Undermine. A separate questline concludes the tragic destruction of Dalaran, but its availability is delayed post-patch launch.

The Dalaran Epilogue questline provides closure, offering a fitting farewell to this significant social hub in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

How to Begin the Patch 11.1 Prologue

Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the "Lingering Shadows" campaign begins immediately. Completion of the leveling or Level 80 campaign isn't required. For optimal understanding, complete prior story content to avoid spoilers and gain context. The "Lingering Shadows" campaign includes:

• Together, Alone
• The Voice
• Ringing in the Deeps
• Good Help These Days
• Hey, What's Going On?

After "Found Friends," speak with Orweyna. Her quest, while not part of the campaign, offers insights into future plot developments within The War Within or subsequent World Soul Saga expansions.

Initiating the Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within

Initially, a three-week delay was implemented for the Dalaran Epilogue. As of January 7th, this delay is removed. However, completing both The War Within's leveling campaign and the Level 80 campaign (requiring Renown Four with all four Khaz Algar factions) is necessary.

If unsure about meeting these requirements, visit Foundation Hall (the prologue quest starting point for Patch 11.1). Khadgar's presence (after January 7th) indicates readiness for his quest. His absence signifies unfinished campaign quests. The Dalaran Epilogue quest list follows:
