The Open League is an immersive football (soccer) manager simulation game that seamlessly integrates with the Discord platform, offering an engaging experience for football enthusiasts. Here's what you can expect from this innovative game:

Each night, full 90-minute football matches are simulated, with live play-by-play updates streamed directly to our Discord server. This feature ensures you stay connected to the action, no matter where you are.

In The Open League, you manage your football team within servers consisting of 30 teams, organized into three distinct leagues. The competitive structure allows the top three football clubs to earn promotion to a higher league, while the bottom three face relegation. Each season spans three weeks, providing ample time to strategize and compete.

During the off-season, your football team participates in a youth camp, aiming to scout and recruit the next legendary player. This camp, lasting a weekend, is crucial for building your team's future. Successful youth camp campaigns have historically formed the backbone of many team dynasties in TOL.

Football managers have the flexibility to organize friendly matches against other managers. The off-season is an ideal time to set up tournaments, enhancing your team's skills and camaraderie.

At the end of each season, you retain your team, with players developing or decaying over time. Effective squad management is essential for long-term success.

Transfers are a key element of the game, negotiated with other human football managers over Discord. These negotiations are formalized within the TOL application, where astute dealmakers can truly shine.

The Open League leverages friendly bots on Discord to assist in managing your team. For instance, you can direct message your assistant, Chris, to send out a press release to all other clubs about your latest victory!

To accommodate players globally, The Open League supports multiple time zones, with matches scheduled at 7:00pm PST, EST, and GMT.
