Carplounge Autopilot: Revolutionizing BaitBoat Control with Your Android Device

Forget traditional BaitBoat remotes! The Carplounge Autopilot uses your Android tablet or phone for effortless control. This free app, available on the Google Play Store, connects to your RT7 & RT4 V4 BaitBoat via Bluetooth using a transmitter box. Enjoy intuitive touchscreen navigation in manual mode, mirroring the functionality of a standard remote.

The app displays real-time boat position, route, and orientation (including a compass!), constantly updating on an integrated map. Utilize the built-in GPS to save and name promising fishing spots identified by your echo sounder (e.g., "jetty left," "spot 1").

Autopilot mode unlocks advanced capabilities. Create complex routes by selecting multiple points and assigning actions at each waypoint (opening hoppers, activating lights, etc.). Imagine: navigate to "Sandbank," release bait from the right hopper, proceed to "Spot 2" and release from the left, then automatically return to your fishing location—all without lifting a finger! Store virtually unlimited spots and routes.

Precision is paramount. Advanced sensors (position, acceleration), combined with cutting-edge GPS and compass technology, ensure incredibly accurate route following—achieving 90% accuracy within 30cm!

Intelligent line management is also built-in. The system detects line tension while the boat is in motion, automatically adjusting its course to maintain a direct path to the target, preventing line tangles, especially when deploying multiple rods simultaneously.

While the autopilot replaces the standard remote, you can still connect a traditional remote for alternative control. The app is optimized for 10-inch tablets but functions on any Bluetooth-enabled Android device.
