Fantasian Neo Dimension: Unlocking the Power of the Tachyon Medal
Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a breathtaking world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan, a threat capable of obliterating all existence. The game's captivating story and unique mechanics keep players engrossed as the stakes escalate.
The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item integral to a challenging, extended side quest. Obtaining it is merely the first step; its true purpose unfolds later. This guide details how to acquire and utilize the Tachyon Medal.
Locating the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, emerging as the final item acquired before the climactic battle. To obtain it, progress through the main storyline until reaching Sanctum, situated in the God Realm via the Communication Network. Inside the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack, which drains 90% of your health; ensure Kina is prepared to heal the party. Equipping Petrification Null gear will significantly ease the encounter.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 should quickly dispatch summoned enemies. Consider bringing Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict massive damage.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. This area is filled with rubble. A chest containing the Tachyon Medal rests to your right.
Utilizing the Tachyon Medal
Activating the Tachyon Medal requires completing two objectives. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, finish the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. The Cinderella Tri-Stars appear in eight locations, the first two encountered during the main story:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat these bosses in the specified order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests will become accessible beneath the Altar. One contains the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.
Opening all three chests activates a glowing door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over levels, items, and equipment. While enemies become stronger, this shouldn't pose a significant challenge, especially if all side quests were completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
