Age of History Africa is a global, turn-based strategy game where your objective is to conquer the African continent. With 436 distinct regions to control, you'll employ strategic maneuvers to capture territories, besiege enemy capitals, and develop your infrastructure to achieve ultimate dominance.

Age of History Africa offers accessible gameplay for newcomers while providing a deep strategic challenge for experienced players. Sharpen your strategic thinking, diplomatic skills, and strive to become the ultimate conqueror. Featuring over 436 regions, 223 unique civilizations, and diverse game modes and campaigns, the game promises highly addictive gameplay, enhanced by stylish minimalist graphics and realistic elements.

Game Mechanics

Before each round, players submit their orders, limited by their available Movement Points. Civilizations execute actions in a randomized turn order at the start of each round.

Map and Key Features

Your capital is paramount. Losing your capital for three consecutive turns results in your civilization's dissolution. Capturing an enemy capital grants you control of all its provinces. Capitals provide a +15% defensive and offensive bonus and are fully equipped with all buildings.

Neutral provinces are represented in transparent colors, while colored provinces indicate ownership by other civilizations. The map offers adjustable scaling; double-tap to reset to the standard view. A warning exclamation mark appears in the top right corner of the minimap when the map is not at standard scale.

Economy and Population Management

Use the Economy and Population buttons to view individual province values. The Diplomacy button allows you to check ownership and engage in diplomatic interactions.

Treasury Management

Your treasury is funded by income tax, calculated based on your civilization's total population and economy. Military upkeep is deducted from your treasury, with naval units incurring higher costs than land units.

Orders: Normal View

• Move: Transfer units between your controlled provinces or launch attacks on other civilizations.
• Recruit: Hire units from a selected province, incurring monetary costs and reducing its population.
• Build: Construct buildings in selected provinces at a specific cost.
• Disband: Remove units from a province to reduce military upkeep.
• Vassal: Establish a vassal state with another civilization.
• Annex: Reclaim a vassal state under your direct control.

Orders: Diplomacy View

• War: Declare war on another civilization.
• Peace: Propose a peace agreement to end hostilities.
• Pact: Offer a non-aggression pact, preventing attacks for five rounds (cancellable with advance notice).
• Alliance: Propose a military alliance where the allied civilization assists in your military efforts. Use the War order to inform allies of your targets.
• Kick: Terminate an existing alliance.
• Support: Provide financial aid to another civilization.

Building Types

• Fort: Provides a defensive bonus to a province.
• Watchtower: Allows you to see enemy army numbers in adjacent provinces.
• Port: Enables units to move to sea. Naval units can return to any land province, regardless of port presence.
