We’ve listened to your whispers in the dark, and with this update, Infinite Backrooms Escape becomes even more terrifying—beyond just survival, it's about survival with purpose.

🔧 Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements

• Fixed critical crash when transitioning between "Level 7: The Humming Hall" and "Level 8: The Neon Limbo."
• Resolved audio desync issues during monster ambushes in "Level 3: The Flicker Corridor."
• Improved memory management, reducing lag on older devices by up to 35%.
• Patched exploit allowing players to bypass locked doors in "Level 12: The Hollow Choir."

🌑 New Additions & Enhancements

• New Nightmare Mode (Unlockable):
  Activate this mode for a full sensory assault—dimmed visuals, distorted audio, and randomized monster spawns. Only the truly desperate will last past Level 15.

• Dynamic Lighting System (Beta):

• Level 16: The Echoing Archive:
  A vast, forgotten library filled with books that whisper your name. Some pages contain forbidden knowledge—reading them causes hallucinations and attracts The Curator.

• Hidden Lore Fragments:
  Find scattered notes, audio logs, and fragmented dream journals across levels. Piece together the truth behind the Backrooms’ origin… or risk going mad.

• Improved AI Behavior:
  Enemies now use sound cues and pattern recognition. If you run, they’ll pursue. If you hide, they’ll search. They’re learning.
