Albion Online's Rogue Frontier update: Smugglers, new weapons, and more!

Sandbox Interactive's medieval fantasy MMORPG, Albion Online, is getting a major update on February 3rd: Rogue Frontier. This update introduces a new faction of rebels – the Smugglers – who operate in the lawless Outlands.

Life in the Outlands

The Smugglers have established secret underground bases known as Smuggler's Dens. These dens serve as vital hubs for players, offering banking, repair services, and a central location for planning Outlands expeditions. The dens are interconnected via the Smuggler's Network, a sophisticated marketplace system spanning the Outlands.

Players can actively participate in the ongoing conflict between the Smugglers and the Royal Guards. Missions include rescuing captured Smugglers and delivering contraband within Smuggler Crates.

Rewards for Loyalty

Show your allegiance to the Smugglers and be rewarded by Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader residing in the dens. Rewards include a Smuggler's Vanity Set, a Smuggler's Cape (with a potion cooldown reduction ability), a Smuggler's Ring, and a Smuggler's Avatar.

New additions to the game include Kill Trophies, dropped by defeated players. The quality of the loot from the defeated player increases the chance of obtaining a Kill Trophy.

Rogue Frontier also introduces exciting new weaponry:

• Rotcaller Staff: Summons a chilling mist to repel enemies.
• Skystrider Bow: Allows levitation and ranged attacks from above.
• Forcepulse Bracers: Unleashes shockwaves as you dash into combat.
