In 2022, Innersloth transformed fan engagement with Among Us by launching a critically acclaimed VR adaptation. The studio is now pushing boundaries again with Among Us 3D, delivering classic gameplay through an immersive first-person viewpoint—accessible without VR equipment.
The upcoming version maintains beloved core mechanics while adapting them for standard gaming systems. A teaser reveals how familiar elements like tasks, discussions, and sabotage unfold from a character's perspective. Gamers can preview this innovative experience through a free demo during Steam's "Game On" festival.
Currently targeting PC as its main platform, Among Us 3D will feature keyboard/mouse optimization and an improved UI for better accessibility. Players can enjoy cross-play compatibility with Among Us VR, though the original 2D version remains separate.
Innersloth will introduce Stardust—an upcoming in-game currency—to broaden cosmetic customization and support the game's continuous development.
