Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, and their latest focus is the Witcher series. Sora AI, a YouTube channel creator, recently unveiled a concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation.
Styled to emulate the aesthetic of 1980s films, this project leverages the power of neural networks. The trailer features numerous recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, Priscilla, and others. While some slight alterations to their appearances exist, the characters remain easily identifiable.
Recently, The Witcher 3 developers hinted at the inclusion of Triss's wedding in the game. The planned "Ashen Marriage" quest was set in Novigrad. The storyline depicts Triss developing feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt aids in the wedding preparations, tasks including clearing canal monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the gift chosen. Less elaborate gifts receive a lukewarm response, while a memory rose—a familiar item from The Witcher 2—elicits a much stronger emotional reaction.
