Apex Legends ALGS Year 4 Championships Heads to Sapporo, Japan!
Get ready Apex Legends fans! The ALGS Year 4 Championships are coming to Sapporo, Japan, marking a significant milestone for the competitive scene. This will be the first-ever ALGS offline tournament held in Asia.
The event will take place at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME from January 29th to February 2nd, 2025, featuring 40 elite teams vying for the championship title. This announcement follows significant fan demand for an Asian-based tournament.
EA highlighted the strong Japanese Apex Legends community and the numerous requests for a local event. John Nelson, EA's senior director of Esports, expressed excitement about bringing the tournament to the iconic Daiwa House Premist Dome.
Specific tournament details and ticket information will be released at a later date. Sapporo Mayor Katsuhiro Akimoto extended a warm welcome to all athletes, officials, and fans attending the event.
