Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has been captivating gamers for over a month, and Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the experience with their upcoming updates. On May 1, Ubisoft shared their year 1 post-launch roadmap on Twitter (X), detailing the new story and gameplay content players can look forward to.
A standout feature is the introduction of new Story Drops, which are multiple free content additions to the game. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."
Moreover, fans should mark their calendars for the first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, set to release later this year. This DLC will transport players to the island of Awaji, a brand-new region to explore post-epilogue of the base game. Expect to encounter new enemies, gain new abilities for both protagonists, and wield an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
