The Emergence mission in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 marks the campaign's midpoint and represents a significant departure from typical gameplay. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough.

Navigating the Kentucky BioTech Facility

The mission begins with Case and Marshall entering a Kentucky BioTech facility filled with toxic gas, necessitating gas masks. An elevator malfunction leads to a fall, gas mask breakage, and subsequent hallucinations.

After the initial chaos, locate a locked red-lit door. Use a hatchet (found on a mannequin) to break it open. Proceed through the hallway, up the stairs, and to the central elevator.

Activating the elevator triggers a zombie encounter (hallucination). Defeat them with the hatchet. A phone call directs you to the biotechnology room, requiring four director's cards (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow). You'll receive a map to the Yellow card.

Acquiring the Yellow Card and Grappling Hook

From the security console, follow the map to a yellow staircase. Solve the computer puzzle ("Access" and "Lift") in the Director's office. More zombies appear in the A.C.R. room.

A mannequin holding the Yellow card transforms into an abomination. Before engaging, gather armor, weapons, and the crucial grappling hook. Use explosives (C4 or grenades) to eliminate the abomination and its zombie horde. Retrieve the Yellow card.

Securing the Green Card

Use the grappling hook to ascend to the main facility. Locate the Administration Facility's grappling point (left of the elevator). Answer the phone; you need to find four documents and place them in the file display area.

While collecting the documents (desk corner, left side near a round table, center table, cafe near a sink), mannequins will pursue. Sprint to maintain distance. After placing the documents, grapple the red mannequin repeatedly to transform it into a Mangler Zombie. Defeat it to obtain the Green card.

Obtaining the Blue Card

Grapple across to the Joint Projects Facility. Answer the phone. Locate camera stands around a glass chamber containing the Blue card. Eliminate the Mimic that spawns. The Mimic can disappear; shoot moving objects to make it reappear.

Retrieving the Red Card

Go to the East Wing (marked on the initial map), following red carpets to stairs. In the room with water, a console, and a Mangler, interact with the console to reveal the Red card.

Use the grappling hook to reach the upper area, jump into the pool, and swim through a red tunnel. Climb ladders, clear zombies, and unlock a door using a blacklight-revealed code. Turn all drain switches within 25 seconds (one in the initial room, one in the unlocked room, and one accessible via grappling hook). After draining the water, follow the Mangler's escape route to fight it and its horde, obtaining the Red card.

Confronting the Disciple

Return to the security desk, insert all four cards, and ride the elevator. Fight off zombies. Answer the red phone in the BioTech room to encounter numerous zombies and the Disciple. Defeating them concludes the mission (after a final hallucination sequence).
