Blue Archive's "Rowdy and Cheery" Update: New Story, Characters, and Game Mode!

Nexon's Blue Archive has unleashed a significant update titled "Rowdy and Cheery," brimming with new content for strategy RPG enthusiasts. This update introduces a captivating new story arc, characters, and a challenging new game mode.

The Heart of the "Rowdy and Cheery" Update

The update centers around a chaotic field trip between Gehenna Academy and Allied Hyakkiyako Academy. Players follow Gehenna students on their journey to Hyakkiyako, witnessing humorous clashes between the two groups within a 10-episode storyline. Completing chapters rewards players with Pyroxenes and Credit Points.

Two new characters join the fray:

  • Tsubaki (Guide): A tour guide from Allied Hyakkiyako Academy.
  • Umika: A Mystic-type Striker from the Festival Operations Department, wielding a powerful Fireworks Launcher.

A New Challenge: Final Restriction Release

"Final Restriction Release" is a challenging new mode where players can deploy up to 6 Strikers and 4 Special students per unit to battle formidable bosses. This limited-time mode (available until October 21st) offers valuable rewards including Credit Points, Enhancement Stones, and Workbooks crucial for the new Talent Unlock system.
