With Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Season 2 update on the horizon, Zombies fans are in for a treat. Among the exciting new features coming to the game's beloved Zombies mode is the introduction of a co-op pause option. This feature allows players in the same party to pause the game together, giving them time to strategize or take breaks during intense high-round sessions—a long-awaited addition since the game's launch.
Also addressing common frustrations, the update introduces "AFK Kick Loadout Recovery." Players booted from games due to inactivity can now rejoin and retain their original loadouts, minimizing disruptions to their progress. For better customization, separate HUD presets for Zombies and multiplayer will finally be available, eliminating the hassle of adjusting settings between modes.
Challenge tracking is another highlight, allowing players to manually track up to 10 Calling Card and Camo Challenges per mode. This helps keep tabs on challenges nearing completion while displaying the nearest goals in empty slots. Both the top tracked or near-completion challenges will also show in the lobby and in-game options menu, streamlining progression management.
Season 2 also brings improved challenge tracking and enhanced user experience features, set to launch on January 28, 2025. Stay tuned for these exciting updates and more!
