Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Debut: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly awaited the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 content, and the crossover finally arrived to much fanfare. However, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked debate among fans. Speculation ran rampant, analyzing CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The explanation, however, is far less complex.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's lore expert and decision-maker for the Fortnite collaboration, clarified the situation. The bundle was designed for only two characters, with Johnny Silverhand being a mandatory inclusion. This left only one slot, leading to the selection of the female V. Mills also admitted a personal preference for the female version.

Ultimately, the omission of male V was a practical decision, not a deliberate exclusion. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin appearance, following the previously released John Wick character.
