Get ready, Dead Cells fans—the thrilling ride of free updates is nearing its end, but not before delivering two final masterpieces: Clean Cut and The End is Near, now available on Android. While the game itself isn't going anywhere, the developers have decided to wrap up the update saga. These last updates are bringing a deliciously dark twist to the mix.
Let's dive into what's new. First off, arm yourself with four new weapons that are as intriguing as they are deadly. Imagine wielding giant Sewing Scissors or the Misericorde sword, which unleashes massive critical damage on enemies with less than half health. But beware, if you don’t finish them off, you’ll be cursed! Then there's Anathema, a heavy-ranged weapon that explodes on impact but curses you if it hits anything. And don’t forget the new skill, Indulgence, which unleashes a beam of light to deal massive damage and clear some of your curses.
The updates also introduce new modes to keep you on your toes, including Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY. Plus, you can now choose from 40 new heads, thanks to a new NPC who lets you swap them at will. It's a perfect way to customize your character as you embark on these final adventures.
But that's not all—these updates come with new mutations and enemies to spice things up. Cursed Flask lets you use your health flask without consuming a charge, Damned Vigor gives you a few seconds to kill an enemy and avoid death, and Demonic Strength boosts your damage when you're cursed.
On the enemy front, beware the Sore Loser that sticks to you and curses you upon its demise, the Curser that shoots guided cursed skulls and slashes if you get too close, and the formidable Doom Bringer, capable of killing you outright if she stacks more than 50 curses on you.
Don't miss out on these final updates. Head over to the Google Play Store, grab Dead Cells, and immerse yourself in these new challenges and features while they're still fresh.
