NieR: Automata Resource Farming: Maximizing Dented Plate Acquisition
While resource abundance varies in NieR: Automata, the demand for materials, especially for weapon upgrades, remains high. Dented Plates, a frequently needed resource, can be efficiently farmed using several strategies.
Optimal Dented Plate Farming Locations:
Dented Plates are commonly dropped by:
- Small Biped (all variants)
- Small Flyer (all variants)
- Small Sphere (all variants)
These enemies are prevalent throughout the game. However, relying solely on random encounters isn't the most efficient method.
The Adam Pit Method:
The most effective location is the pit where you first encounter Adam.
- Fast Travel: Use the Desert: Housing Complex access point.
- Navigate: Proceed deeper into the ruins and descend to the pit.
- Endless Spawning: Enemies, primarily Small Bipeds, will continuously respawn as you eliminate them. Even lower-level enemies here offer a decent drop rate for Dented Plates. This area also yields Titanium Alloy.
Alternative Farming: Forest Kingdom:
For a less concentrated, but still viable, farming method:
- Forest Kingdom Encounters: Groups of Bipeds in the Forest Kingdom often drop at least one Dented Plate per encounter.
- Additional Benefits: This area also provides opportunities to gather Beast Hide.
- Higher Level Enemies: Progressing through the game increases your chances of encountering higher-level Bipeds, which have a higher Dented Plate drop rate.
Essential Tip: Drop Rate Enhancement
Equipping drop-rate-enhancing plug-in chips significantly boosts your yield. Remember to avoid death, as this results in permanent chip loss.
