Elden Ring DLC Helps FromSoftware Bounce Back After Major Cyberattack6月27日，黑客组织Black Suits声称对FromSoftware的母公司角川公司发动了网络攻击，并窃取了大量数据，包括商业计划和用户相关信息。角川公司于7月3日证实，此次泄露事件涉及所有Dwango员工的个人信息、内部文件以及部分关联公司员工的数据。

据Gamebiz报道，角川公司遭受的安全漏洞给公司造成了约20亿日元（约合1300万美元）的损失，并导致净利润比上年下降了10.1%。尽管如此，角川公司在截至2024年6月30日的财政年度第一季度仍取得了强劲的财务业绩。这是自6月8日大规模网络攻击以来，角川公司发布的首份财务报告，此次攻击扰乱了公司的多项服务。

幸运的是，业务活动现已全面恢复。在出版和IP创作领域，受影响出版物的发货量预计将在8月份逐步恢复，预计到8月中旬每日发货量将恢复正常。一些受影响的主要网络服务也即将恢复正常运营。

该公司的视频游戏部门实现了显著增长，销售额达到77.64亿日元，比上年增长80.2%，营业利润增长108.1%。这一强劲的业绩主要得益于《艾尔登法环》及其《雪山之树的阴影》DLC，为游戏部门带来了巨大的推动作用。
