Ahmed Alameen's debut point-and-click adventure game, My Father Lied, blends captivating storytelling with challenging puzzles, inspired by Mesopotamian history. Alameen, initially collaborating on the project before taking the reins as sole developer, masterfully combines 2D and 360-degree imagery to craft stunning visuals, ensuring accessibility even on less powerful PCs. Gameplay involves classic point-and-click mechanics, requiring players to piece together images, decipher codes, and explore richly detailed environments. The game's style draws inspiration from titles like Myst and Heaven's Vault, infused with the chilling atmosphere of H.P. Lovecraft's literary works.
