Charlie Cox's successful transition from Netflix to the MCU as Daredevil has sparked speculation about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Finn Jones, who portrayed Iron Fist, recently expressed his eagerness to return to the role, stating at LaConve, an anime convention in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, "I’m here and I’m ready." Jones last played Danny Rand in Season 2 of the Iron Fist Netflix series and in The Defenders, where he teamed up with Daredevil/Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter).
Despite the less favorable reception to Jones' portrayal of Iron Fist compared to other Defenders characters, the integration of Daredevil into the MCU has reignited hopes for a revival of The Defenders. Recent reports suggest that Marvel is "exploring" the possibility of bringing back the team. At the convention, Jones acknowledged the criticism he received but urged fans and Marvel to give him another chance, saying, "Give me a f\*\*\*ing chance, man. I want to prove people wrong. So I would love to see that happen."

Daredevil: Born Again continues the story from the Netflix series, which was part of a smaller-scale Marvel universe that included shows like Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. These shows, along with the broader Defenders narrative, are now officially part of the MCU canon and available on Disney+. Jon Bernthal's Punisher, another character from the Netflix series, also appears in Daredevil: Born Again, further solidifying the connection between the Netflix shows and the MCU.
