Fortnite Unveils Darth Jar Jar, Star Wars Battle Pass in Galactic Season

Fortnite is gearing up for an epic celebration of Star Wars with its next season, dubbed "Galactic Battle," set to launch on May 2, 2025. This season promises an immersive experience with a Star Wars-themed Battle Pass and a five-part saga brimming with surprises. The highlight of the season is the introduction of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale, which was unveiled during the Star Wars Celebration. Fans can also look forward to the addition of Force Lightning as an in-game ability, adding a thrilling new dimension to gameplay.

The season's Battle Pass will feature iconic characters such as Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups like Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. New additions to the Item Shop will include Mace Windu, and players will have the chance to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters. Themed map locations will further enhance the Star Wars atmosphere, making every match feel like a journey through the galaxy far, far away.

The "Galactic Battle" saga will unfold weekly, each with its own distinct theme:

• The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
• Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
• Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
• Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025

These events will lead to a climactic in-game narrative live event, where players will feel as though they hold the fate of the galaxy in their hands. This season promises not just thrilling gameplay but also a deep dive into the Star Wars universe.
