While we're all anticipating updates on the Nintendo Switch 2, today's spotlight shines on a beloved franchise: Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio recently unveiled fresh gameplay footage for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, showcasing its Hawaiian pirate adventure.

The presentation highlighted extensive ship customization, expansive open-sea exploration, thrilling naval battles, engaging mini-games, and a diverse range of explorable locations. A key feature is Goro Majima's dual combat styles: a lightning-fast, agile approach and a more brutal style utilizing short swords and pirate weaponry.

Players can assemble a unique crew of allies to aid in combat, exploration, and treasure hunting. The game promises hidden islands brimming with secrets and original side quests to uncover.

A fantastic surprise emerged at the presentation's close: the developers confirmed that "New Game+" mode will be a free post-launch addition via a patch. This is a welcome change from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, where this mode was initially exclusive to the pricier edition, drawing criticism from SEGA. This positive development means we only have to wait around six weeks for the official release.
