Garena's Delta Force: A Global Tactical FPS Launch
Garena is bringing the tactical first-person shooter, Delta Force (formerly known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops), to a global audience. A PC open beta kicks off December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025. Originally developed by NovaLogic and later taken over by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of Call of Duty Mobile), the game is now launching in select regions through a partnership with Garena.
Cross-progression between PC and mobile is a key feature. Garena and TiMi plan a 2025 launch in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Garena's Delta Force Game Modes:
- Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air. Players are divided into four-person squads.
- Operations: A high-stakes extraction shooter mode for three-person teams. Teams scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and race to an extraction point before time runs out. Players can loot fallen opponents, encounter bosses, navigate restricted areas, and complete special missions. A rare item, the MandelBrick, grants exclusive skins but reveals your location to all players.
A Modern Take on a Classic:
This new Delta Force boasts sharp, realistic graphics and retains the tactical gameplay the series is renowned for. Fans of the original 1998 release are sure to find plenty of nostalgic appeal.
