David Koepp, the screenwriter behind the iconic 1993 film Jurassic Park and the upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth, has revealed an exciting detail about the new movie. In an interview with Variety, Koepp shared that he revisited Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park novels to refresh his inspiration, since Jurassic World Rebirth does not have a specific novel to adapt from.
Koepp admitted to incorporating elements from the original novels into the new film, including a specific sequence from the first Jurassic Park book that was initially left out of the 1993 movie due to space constraints. He expressed excitement about finally being able to include this scene, stating, "There was a sequence from the first novel that we’d always wanted in the original movie, but didn’t have room for. We were like, ‘Hey, we get to use that now.’"
Although Koepp did not disclose the exact sequence, this revelation has sparked considerable speculation among fans. Various scenes from the novel are now being considered as potential candidates for inclusion in Jurassic World Rebirth.
