Review codes for the game, achieving gold status in early December, will be distributed "in the coming days," according to Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global public relations manager. To allow reviewers and streamers ample time to prepare their reviews, these codes are expected four weeks before the game's launch.
Interestingly, initial "final previews," based on sections of the review version, are anticipated a week after code distribution.
The release date was shifted to ensure a high-quality launch experience in early 2025, with February 4th currently slated as the release date. This postponement also strategically avoids direct competition with the February releases of Assassin's Creed Shadows, Avowed, and Monster Hunter Wilds.
The game will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Console players can expect 4K/30 fps and 1440p/60 fps options, with PS5 Pro optimization included from launch.
PC players aiming for ultra settings will require an Intel Core i7-13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, 32GB of RAM, and either a GeForce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card.
