Marvel Rivals developers know about fps pay-to-win bug, fix incoming

Author : Anthony Update:Feb 02,2025

Marvel Rivals launched strongly, boasting hundreds of thousands of concurrent Steam players, while simultaneously impacting Overwatch 2's player base. However, a significant and frustrating bug has emerged.

Previously reported, low-end PCs experiencing low frame rates result in reduced hero movement speed and damage output. The developers have acknowledged this issue and are actively seeking a resolution.

Unfortunately, a complete fix proves challenging. Season 1 of Marvel Rivals will likely see a temporary patch improving movement, while the damage reduction problem requires more extensive work, lacking a definitive timeframe for complete resolution.

Therefore, our recommendation remains: prioritize maximum frame rate over graphical fidelity in Marvel Rivals to ensure competitive gameplay and avoid performance-based disadvantages.
