Monster Hunter Now's second update in Season 5: The Blossoming Blade introduces the Spring Hunt 2025, an exciting online paid event running from May 24th to May 25th, 2025. To participate, you'll need to purchase an event ticket from the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket unlocks non-stop Elder Dragon Interceptions, focusing exclusively on the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos. There’s no waiting between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons, allowing you to dive into the action seamlessly. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to claim exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear, adding a unique flair to your hunter's appearance.

The Spring Hunt 2025 also features Event Exchange Hubs. Two hubs will be available: the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub, which opens from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During the event period, from May 19th to May 25th, you can collect tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons. These tokens can then be exchanged for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more, enhancing your arsenal and gear.

Chameleos, the elder dragon known for its stealthy tricks and disorienting fog, becomes the centerpiece of this event. Starting May 24th, 2025, you can engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions to confront this vanishing menace. If you're ranked 100 or above, you'll have the opportunity to encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. To tackle Chameleos effectively, arm yourself with weapons and armor that exploit its vulnerabilities to Fire, Dragon, and Blast.

Successfully defeating Chameleos grants you the materials needed to forge the new Mizuha Set armor. This set comes equipped with the Chameleos Venomist skill, which reduces the duration of poison and venom effects on you by half and increases your ability to poison your targets. Chameleos materials also allow you to craft a wide range of weapons, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow.
