Mussels are found on the ground throughout Mythopia, specifically within these areas:
- The Elysian Fields
- The Fiery Plains
- The Statue's Shadow
- Mount Olympus
While some players report easily finding Mussels in these locations, others find them scarce. Their spawn rate seems inconsistent, with certain areas potentially yielding more than others. For example, proximity to Trial areas (like the one near Hades' unlock in the Elysian Fields) may influence spawn points.
A significant cluster of Mussels can be discovered behind the secret bush area in the Elysian Fields during Hades' "A Moth to a Flame" quest. Unlocking this area may increase overall Mussel spawns across Mythopia.
What to Do With Mussels in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Unlike some other seafood, Mussels aren't used in crafting. Their primary use is as a culinary ingredient in these Storybook Vale recipes:
