Goblinz Publishing, renowned for titles like Overboss and Oaken, has launched a new Android game: Ozymandias. This 4X strategy game, reminiscent of the Civilization series, offers a streamlined experience focused on exploration, expansion, exploitation, and extermination. Blazing Fast Gameplay
Set in the Bronze Age, Ozymandias lets you explore diverse Mediterranean and European civilizations. While retaining the core strategic elements of a classic 4X game—city building, army raising, and conquering rivals—it distinguishes itself through its remarkably simplified and rapid gameplay.
Unlike many 4X games that demand meticulous resource management, Ozymandias minimizes micromanagement. The focus is on swift, strategic decision-making.
With eight detailed historical maps and 52 unique empires, each possessing distinct characteristics, the game offers significant replayability. Multiple game modes, including multiplayer, solo, and asynchronous options, cater to various preferences. A typical match concludes within approximately 90 minutes, making it ideal for a quick gaming session. Simultaneous turns further accelerate the pace. While this simplification might be considered excessive by some, it's a key element of the game's design.

Ozymandias is available now on Android via the Google Play Store for $2.79. Developed by The Secret Games Company using Unreal Engine 4, it initially launched on Steam for PC in March 2022.
