Celebrate the 25th anniversary of Pokémon Gold & Silver with a new line of limited-edition merchandise! Launching November 23rd, 2024, at Pokémon Centers across Japan.

Pokémon Gold & Silver 25th Anniversary Merchandise: November 23rd, 2024 Launch

Available Exclusively at Japanese Pokémon Centers (Initially)

A wide range of commemorative items, from home goods to stylish apparel, will be available starting November 23rd, 2024, at Pokémon Centers in Japan. International availability is yet to be announced.

Pre-orders begin November 21st, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. JST via Pokémon Center Online and Amazon Japan.

Prices range from ¥495 (approx. $4 USD) to ¥22,000 (approx. $143 USD). Highlights include:

  • Sukajan souvenir jackets (¥22,000) featuring Ho-Oh and Lugia designs.
  • Day bags (¥12,100).
  • 2-piece plate sets (¥1,650).
  • A selection of stationery and hand towels.

Originally released in 1999 for the Game Boy Color, Pokémon Gold and Silver revolutionized the Pokémon franchise. Praised for their innovative features, including a real-time clock affecting gameplay and the introduction of 100 new Pokémon (Gen 2), such as Pichu, Cleffa, Hoothoot, Chikorita, Umbreon, Ho-Oh, and Lugia, these games remain iconic. A decade later, they received a remake for the Nintendo DS: Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.
