Flat2VR Studios has exciting news for fans of the classic trash shooter, announcing a virtual reality adaptation of Postal 2, which first hit the gaming scene 22 years ago. The team unveiled the project with a captivating debut trailer that showcases the game's signature humor and chaotic gameplay, reimagined for the VR experience.
In the trailer, players follow the Dude on his quest to gather signatures in support of the development of Postal 2 VR. The developers then dive into some of the remake's standout features, including a redesigned shooting mechanic optimized for VR controllers, an updated user interface, and an enhanced mini-map system that promises to elevate the gameplay experience.
A dedicated Steam page for Postal 2: VR is now live, offering fans a closer look with screenshots, system requirements, and additional details. To run the PC version, players will need at least Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU, and 8 GB of RAM. While Russian voiceovers won't be included, the game will feature subtitles to ensure accessibility for all players.
Despite the modern upgrades, the core experience remains faithful to the original. Players will embark on everyday errands such as grocery shopping and returning library books, but with the freedom to dive into absolute mayhem at any moment, true to Postal 2's notorious spirit.
