The cooperative horror game *R.E.P.O.* offers an engaging, physics-based retrieval experience for up to six players. Your mission involves navigating various maps, collecting valuables, and safely extracting them. To ensure your efforts are not lost, here's a detailed guide on how to save your game in *R.E.P.O.*
How to Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.
One of the most frustrating experiences for gamers is loading a game only to find that their latest progress hasn't been saved. This can be particularly challenging with new releases like *R.E.P.O.*, where autosave features might not be as intuitive as players hope. Not all games offer autosave, and some require specific actions or reaching certain points before allowing a safe exit.
In *R.E.P.O.*, it's crucial to remember that the game autosaves only when you successfully complete a level. There's no manual save option available, so if you exit during a retrieval mission or die (which sends you to the Disposal Arena), your progress will be lost, and you'll need to start the level over. Upon death in *R.E.P.O.*, your save file is deleted, and exiting mid-level requires you to restart from the beginning of that level.
To save your game, you must finish the current level or location. Once you've collected all valuables, head to the Extraction Point, enter the truck, and press the message button above your head to signal the AI boss, the Taxman, that it's time to proceed to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can engage in shopping or other activities. To move to the next level, use the same button to signal your readiness.
