Old School RuneScape Drops Varlamore: The Rising Darkness With New Bosses And Quests

Old School RuneScape's latest chapter, Varlamore: The Rising Darkness, launches today, introducing a thrilling adventure in the expanded northern regions. This update presents a formidable new challenge: a colossal serpent.

Confronting the Hueycoatl:

Players will journey to the treacherous Hailstorm Mountains to battle the massive Hueycoatl. This epic encounter requires collaboration with unlikely allies—members of the Dwarven Party and a priest. Victory yields exceptional rewards, including the Tome of Earth, the Dragon Hunter Wand (the first magic-infused dragonbane weapon), and the Hueycoatl Hide Armour.

Beyond the Mountains:

The adventure extends beyond the icy peaks. Explore Aldarin, a new island offering expanded Herblore activities, allowing players to cultivate, mix, and master alchemy with a wider variety of herbs.

Agility and Altruism:

For a change of pace, players can tackle the Colossal Wyrm Agility Course. Help the aged anteater, Worm Tongue, combat a termite infestation threatening the Colossal Wyrm's remains. This act of altruism rewards players with Agility XP and various items, including the Varlamore Graceful Recolour and a skeletal transmog for their Squirrel pet.

Continuing the Story:
