When you think about all of that volume, I wonder if it’s possible to remake that as a single title. It’s a difficult one. It is a tough question."

The product descriptions hinted at a modern reinterpretation, stating, "To commemorate the 25th anniversary, the texture of the costume has been reinterpreted and recreated in three dimensions." This has led many to believe that these updated designs could preview the characters' appearance in a possible FF9 Remake.
