HoYoverse has launched an exciting new update for *Tears of Themis* titled "Ballad of the Dunes." This update is a collaborative event with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism, bringing the allure of detective work together with the cultural richness of Dunhuang, a historic city on the edge of the Gobi Desert.

What Does Ballad of the Dunes Bring to Tears of Themis?

The "Ballad of the Dunes" event is a captivating blend of history, romance, and mystery, set against the backdrop of the ancient Silk Road. Players will immerse themselves in solving mysteries while exploring the vibrant culture of Dunhuang. Here's what you can expect from this unique crossover:

• New MR Cards: Four new MR cards are introduced, featuring characters Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius. Each card reflects different aspects of Dunhuang's culture, including flying apsaras, detailed murals, and the traditional back-played pipa, reminiscent of ancient performers from the Mogao Caves.
• Cultural Elements: The event pays homage to the Silk Road's role as a historical melting pot of art, culture, and trade, dating back to the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC–8 AD). HoYoverse breathes digital life into this heritage within *Tears of Themis*.
• Unique Storylines: Each card comes with its own narrative. Luke's card is titled "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's is "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's is "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's is "Void of Creation." These cards also feature Private Messages that delve into a millennium-long journey.

What Are the Rewards?

From February 13th to February 20th, 2025, players can earn various rewards by completing event tasks. These include Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other goodies. The main challenge involves flipping cells on a game board to reveal hidden rewards.

• Ultimate Prize: The highlight of the event is the Ballad of the Dunes MR card pack. Players can select one of the four MR cards as their final reward in each round.
• Special Reward: By flipping 100 cells, players can unlock the exclusive "Celebration – Dunes Namecard."
